MOSCERINE FILM FESTIVAL

A Film Festival by Children, for Children!

The Moscerine Film Festival is a unique celebration of creativity, featuring short films made by children under the age of 12.

It’s an exciting platform where young filmmakers can share their stories, explore their imagination, and surprise us with their talents.

Free Participation – Categories and Requirements

Participation is completely free! Young filmmakers can submit their short films (up to 15 minutes in length, including credits). There are several awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and special mentions for categories like Best Actor, Actress, Original Idea, and Character Development. Projects from schools are also welcome in the “Focus Scuole” category.

Workshops on Visual Literacy

The festival goes beyond film screenings by offering hands-on workshops on visual literacy. We believe that learning to interpret and create visual content is essential for today’s generation. Through these workshops, we aim to introduce children to the power of images, enhancing their understanding of storytelling, inclusion, and environmental awareness.

Join Us in Rome or Online!

The Moscerine Film Festival will take place in Rome from May 5th to 11th. Can’t make it in person? No problem! The event will also be available to stream online, so you can follow the magic from wherever you are.
